Language Hub
The Language Hub is run by a friendly team of TEFL trained teachers and assistants. We are able to teach those whose first language is not English from beginners right through to advanced level students.
We offer reading and writing practice as well as a lot of opportunities to practice speaking and understanding English in fun and creative lessons. Classes are currently held on Monday evenings and Tuesdays as follows:
Beginners
Taught in person at Mole Valley Skills Hub, Swan Centre, Leatherhead
Beginners Tuesday 9.45am – 11.15am
Elementary level Tuesday 11.45am – 1.15pm
Intermediate level
Taught on Zoom
Monday 6.30pm – 8.00pm
Classes run during term-time and cost £30 for a ‘block’ of 6 lessons, payable at the start of the term. It’s possible to start at any time and the rate is re-calculated accordingly. It is usually possible to join a class at short notice.
Are you a trained ESOL teacher? Might you have some free time to offer to others?
Here at the language hub we are always looking for more people to join our team of volunteer teachers. If you are interested in helping others learn the English language and about our culture, please contact us to find out more.
The team would love to meet you.
