Lipreading Classes
Do you find that you cannot hear everything that is being said?
Our lipreading classes are currently held on Zoom and are fun, friendly, supportive and informative. We are taught by an ATLA qualified tutor. Classes show you how to use your visual sense to bolster your residual hearing.
As well as lipreading we cover many useful topics – including assistive devices; environmental tips; understanding hearing loss and strategies to get help from your friends and family. Many people find it a relief and a pleasure to meet others to share their experiences. This can help reduce feelings of isolation.
Classes: Mondays in term-time. Classes restart 20 January 2025 9:30 – 11:00am. Half-term break is 17 February and last session this term is 31 March.
